We at Indian Frontiers have very carefully designed a trip that traces the journey of Prince Albert Edward, the Prince of Wales, during his 1875 tour. Our itinerary closely follows the key places visited by the Prince, adapted to today’s logistical advancements for a more logical and efficient route. While Sri Lanka and Nepal are available as extensions, we have excluded Pakistan (Lahore) from the main tour. This can be an extensive tour covering almost all the locations visited by the Prince, or it can be multiple trimmed programmes to focus on only a few highlight places, or for that matter places that interest our guests from such an extensive list. The main places the Prince visited in India were, Bombay (Mumbai), Pune, Baroda (Vadodara), Madurai, Madras (Chennai), Calcutta (Kolkata), Varanasi, Delhi, Allahabad (Prayagraj), Lucknow, Agra, Jaipur, Indore, Jammu etc. Other places and en route stops on his tour of India were, Tuticorin, Goa, Bareilly, Trichinopoly, Bankipur (a part of Patna), Rajpura (a part of Patiala), Bharatpur [places not in order of the route and not all places are important stops].
