The Golden Triangle & More (Tour Code: IN/004) – India is not only the Taj or the Dessert city of Jaipur, or for that matter Delhi is not all India is about. Allow us to take you to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur and also beyond to Sikri and Bharatpur. Choose a 8/9 days programme or extend it to 12 to include Khajuraho or go down to Sanchi with an option of seeing the caves of Ajanta & Ellora. We assure you of a tour to mull over all your life. When we say more, we open up the options all over India.

Itinerary

Day 01  Arrival day in Delhi

On arrival in Delhi, our representative will meet, assist and transfer you to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and day up to lunch at leisure. Post lunch you will be visiting Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk. Late evening back to the hotel, welcome dinner overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 02  Delhi

Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Post breakfast you will visit Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb, India Gate and The Raj Ghat. Lunch can be had during your city tour at a local restaurant. Back to hotel by the dinner, overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 03  Delhi / Agra

Early morning check out from the hotel and you will transferred to Railway Station in time to connect morning train to Agra ( 2.5 hrs). Breakfast will be on board. Arrive Agra and you will be transferred to Hotel. Check in at the hotel and day up to lunch at leisure. Post lunch visit to Taj Mahal, a symbol of eternal love which was built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal and the majestic Agra Fort. Back to hotel by the evening and overnight at the hotel in Agra.

Day 04  Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Bharatpur

Breakfast at hotel and post breakfast visit Sikandra – The Mausoleum of Akbar. Back to hotel and check out from the hotel and drive to Bharatpur (60 kms), en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, which is famous for its medieval period monuments. Arrive Bharatpur by the evening, check-in and overnight at the hotel in Bharatpur.

Day 05  Bharatpur / Jaipur

Today, pre-breakfast enjoy bird watching tour at the National Park in the picturesque surrounding and chirping of birds around you. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (Keoladeo Ghana National Park) is famous as one of Asia’s finest birding areas, with over 380 resident and migrant species, including the Common, Demoiselle and the rare Siberian Cranes. It is also an excellent place to watch mammals like Golden Jackal, Striped Hyena, Fishing Cat, Jungle Cat, Nilgai, Sambar, Blackbuck and wild Boar. To observe the flora of the park from close quarters, you can take a boat trip in the lake where most animals and birds come to quench their thirst. Later back to your forest lodge, late breakfast and check-out from the lodge to drive to Jaipur (185 kms/ 4 hrs). En route enjoy the countryside and also enjoy your hot picnic lunch at a farm en route. Arrive Jaipur by dinner and check-in at your hotel in Jaipur. Overnight at Hotel in Jaipur.

Day 06  Jaipur

Breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast today visit Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Jal mahal and Amer Fort. Later in the evening take a tour of the local bazaar and back to hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 07  Jaipur

After breakfast you will be further exploring Jaipur by visiting Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Central Museum and Laxmi Narayan Temple. Back to the hotel in the evening. You have an option to go for shopping in Jaipur Local markets which are world wide famous for their handicrafts. Overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 08  Jaipur / Delhi / Home

Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning pre-breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to railway station with packed breakfast in time to connect your early morning train to Delhi (300km / 6 hrs). Upon arrival you will be transferred to Delhi International Airport to connect your flight back home.
